John Kimbell has decided to step down from the PST board with effect from 31 October 2017.

He was elected to the PST Board in 2013 and also served as a club director from 2015.

John commented “It has been an honour to serve the PST for the last 4 years and similarly to have been a Director of the Football Club I have supported since I was 6, however I feel the time is right to stand down.  The last 4 years have been a real rollercoaster at both PST and PFC board level but I feel I am leaving things in better shape than I found them which is all I could ask for.  I will always be a supporter of the PST and wish Simon and the rest of the board the best of luck”.

Simon Colebrook, chair of the PST, said, “We’re sorry to see John leave the PST Board. Over the last 4 years John has made a huge contribution to both the Trust and also the club as a Director - he will be sorely missed as we move forward.

Amongst a number of other projects, John recently led the project to relaunch the family section at Fratton Park, as well as working with Clare Martin to relaunch the Junior Blues. Both of these have been wildly successful, which is a testimony to the dedication he has shown to both club and the PST.

We know he is incredibly busy in his working life, so we wish him all the best and our gratitude for everything he has done for the PST”

The PST board do not propose to fill this vacancy for the time being while the direction and activities of the PST are reassessed.
