The Blackpool Supporters’ Trust has asked us to share this letter with all fans planning to travel to Bloomfield Road for our game with them next Tuesday evening (27th September).

Whilst we are aware of the issues at Blackpool and fully supportive of their proposals, we would still encourage our fans to attend the game to support our team.

We wish the BST well and have offered our support should they require it.

Steve Rowland, the Chairman of the BST can be contacted at chairman@blackpoolsupporterstrust.com .

If you are travelling to Blackpool, please feel free to share any pictures of your trip with us via email (trustmatters@pompeytrust.com) or via our social media channels.

Greetings from Blackpool Supporters’ Trust.

Your ST has been an inspiration to us!

You are obviously aware that Blackpool fans are in ongoing dispute with the Oystons over what we regard as their very poor custodianship of our club in recent seasons. The majority of us have not renewed season tickets and are not attending home games this season as part of a consumer-led boycott in protest over the situation at Blackpool FC.

Please find a link to the Blackpool Supporters’ Trust’s official letter to visiting supporters concerning the ethical boycott and our appeal for your support in this.

We hope you enjoy your visit to Blackpool. There are designated ‘away’ pubs in the town. The Manchester is the nearest one to the ground. All we would request is that visiting fans buy drinks, food etc from the shops and chippies in the local area (outside the ground) rather than from the club outlets in the stadium.

Local businesses need the trade! In addition, if you have someone who can take photographs of the home stands and send them to us, it helps us do a forensic count of the number of home fans attending the game (a number that tends to be at odds with the official attendance figures). If you require more information, don’t hesitate to make contact by email or ‘phone.

with best regards, Steve Rowland Chairman, Blackpool Supporters Trust
